If I’ve learned anything in my creative career, it’s that It Takes a Village. When I began designing full-time in 2012, I had no creative community to bounce ideas off of or a mentor to glean knowledge from. I was quite literally an island with no hope of staying afloat without signs of life. I was lucky enough to find my village by the end of that year and am grateful for their support, editing eyes, and never-ending encouragement of my work and wild ideas.
If you’re just starting out and need to work through LLCs and marketing strategies, or are on the edge of burnout and need to refine your project management system and product offerings, I’d love to be your village.
Here’s what others are saying
“Mattie and I had our coaching session during a season of overwhelm, chaos, and busyness in my business. Before our session, I wasn’t sure that what we would be speaking about would be able to save me, because I was just so far in over my head! I was in need of smart, quick, practical steps to take in my business that would help change it over time. Mattie, in her kind and gracious way, gave me simple and do-able steps to take to bring my business in a direction of health and sustainability. Sometimes it is the small things that add up to be the “big thing”, and with Mattie’s help, I’ve been able to change a lot of the small things in order to grow my “big thing”. My day-to-day has looked a lot more manageable and chaos free since talking to Mattie and I am so thankful for that!”

“If you are looking for refined structure and focus for your business, Mattie Tiegreen is your girl. From your initial inquiry to her final coaching notes, there is a clear goal – to take your business to the next level. Her advice is tangible and realistic, but just the right amount of scary to get you to push yourself to new ideas. I am so excited to see where my business goes from here!”

“Working with Mattie reconfirmed exactly why it’s important for me to have a creative coach. Creative work is lonely and isolating at times. And as an artist, certain topics of business make me cringe a bit- like finances. I spent two+ hours talking with Mattie about the subject of my business finances and I felt such clarity and a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Finances are uncomfortable, and Mattie made it so easy for me to be vulnerable and honest. She helped me feel comfortable while also giving me a push down a very clearly lined path. She rooted everything in the scope of the goals I have for myself and my business- which made talking finances so easy and clear. In the time we talked Mattie answered any and all questions I had, and was open an honest herself. Beyond that, Mattie crafted out a toolkit with me, for my next steps and resources. This experience was invaluable to my work and self-worth. I am looking forward to continuing working with Mattie on many more topics and challenges in my work.”

“Sometimes you need someone outside of your “inner circle” to take a look inside of your business to give you unbiased and honest feedback. That is what Mattie did for me. I felt heard and genuinely cared for during our session and I am walking away with the direction and clarity that I desperately needed! I’m grateful for you, Mattie!”

“Working with Mattie really helped me to refresh my perspective on our business. I left our session feeling more focused, lighthearted and ready to move forward with the things that matter. It’s so easy to feel like you have to run your business a certain way. Mattie’s perspective and wisdom are such a gift. Looking forward to our next session!”
